Hollywood has taught us that men are meant to chase women, against all obstacles, where in reality life is often much different, with most men being too scared to even ask for a date.   Is one right and the other wrong?  This opens the door to other misconceptions that damage relationships and can lead love off track, such as "Does my partner need years of therapy, or is he really 'Just not that into me?'"
