The Biz ConneXion
is designed to connect Professionals and Businesses in a forum that
enables start-up to mid-sized companies to utilize expertise that may
otherwise be out of
their reach.
Each show will feature a professional who has a specialty that can help
a company to overcome a challenge, revamp their marketing and survive in
this difficult economy. Our professionals cover a broad spectrum of
industries and expertise from around the globe. We will also feature
businesses with challenges that are searching for help. We are looking
forward to listeners calling in with questions and advice.
The Biz ConneXion,
is the brain child of founder Phil Wilton and co-founder Richard
Neumann, two Sonoma County California executives who found themselves
victims of the downsizing economy and eroding job market. While
exhausting the traditional job hunting methods, they both were
interested in taking on consulting or project work. The problem was,
how to find potential clients? On the flip side, they realized that
there must be lots of start-up to midsized companies who desperately
need top level professional help and can’t afford a full time person.
There was no easy way to connect the two groups together.
Enter
www.thebizconneXion.com, a cross between LinkedIn, The Ladders, Craig’s
List, and eHarmony. Phil describes the site as “a user-friendly place
for Professionals to post their skills and for Businesses to easily
search and find people with the expertise they are seeking”. The
backbone of the site is an enhanced search system that connects
businesses to the right professionals.
