(Los Angeles, CA)  July 30, 2005  --  Global Talk Radio is pleased to announce that three additional established talk shows are moving over to its internet radio station! All 3 shows will air live back-to-back on Wednesday evenings, starting at 9pm EDT (6pm PDT).  First is Ready for Romance, hosted by Dr. Lori Soard, whose romantic comedies offer a glimpse at her sense of humor and her suspense novels have received rave reviews.  Jewel's Way follows with a 2-hour program hosted by Jewel Adams, best selling author of erotica romance.  Finally, Sally's Midnight Hour brings a chilling end to the live programming at midnight Eastern.

Andreas Moritz hosts the July 28th edition of "Public Access Radio"

(Los Angeles, CA)  July 28, 2005  --  What actually causes disease?  The answer might be surprising.  In the July 28th edition of Global Talk Radio's "Public Access Radio", author and world-renowned expert in the field of integrative medicine, Andreas Moritz, revealed the most common but rarely recognized reasons responsible for illness and again, plus how to achieve continuous vibrant health.  Neither conventional nor alternative forms of medicine provide the population with the basic, practical steps to remove the root causes of illness and use practical measures of health promotion as a primary approach of treatment.  As his show was titled, there are "Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation" that fill this gap by showing you how to employ your body's own healing powers to bring balance and harmony into all aspects of your life.

The Lillian Cauldwell Show joins Global Talk Radio's lineup

(Los Angeles, CA)  July 26, 2005  --  The Lillian Cauldwell Show has moved to its new home at Global Talk Radio.  The Lillian Cauldwell Show, a live web radio talk program with your host, Lillian Cauldwell, interviews individuals in the arts, communications, and writing communities wishing to promote and market themselves to a worldwide audience. The Lillian Cauldwell Show airs every Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. EDT (4-5pm PDT).

Lillian Cauldwell is a full-time writer in Ann Arbor, MI. She has written articles for The Plain Dealer, TempDigest and Cleveland Employment Weekly as well as a play, T.L. (The Lord), which was a finalist with the Artistic and Literary Resources in Redondo Beach, CA. Her book, Teenagers! A Bewildered Parent's Guide, is listed as recommended reading for the staff at Parson's Art School in New York City. She has served on the Cuyahoga County Platform committee on family values and teen behavior and has conducted seminars at Cuyahoga Joint Vocational School and Lakeland Community College.

Guest lineup for the July 25th edition of "A Story to Tell"

(Los Angeles, CA)  July 25, 2005  --  First, Jim Ballard joins us to discuss his new book, "Little Wave and Old Swell". Little Wave and Old Swell is more than a story. The book's metaphorical journey helps readers and listeners intuitively find answers to heartfelt questions: Where do we come from? What is the nature of human life? What happens when we die? etc. Little Wave and Old Swell is inspired by the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, who often compared the span of a human life to the rising and falling of an ocean wave. Yogananda came to America in 1920. From then until his passing in 1952 he lectured widely, wrote books and founded Self-Realization Fellowship, an organization dedicated to disseminating his scientific techniques of yoga meditation.

Next, we spoke with former Lieutenant Samuel Clark about his book "Total Misconduct" which details his experience with police corruption. This book presents a detailed account of alleged corruption and official misconduct within the police department of the City of Newark, New Jersey. To some, the shocking events described in this book may appear to be exaggerated. Unfortunately, the author confirms they are not. Samuel Clark, a veteran police officer of more than 25 years, worked with a handful of brave police officers to expose the existence of wide spread police corruption in the Newark Police Department. These officers presented documentary evidence of serious police corruption to local and state politicians, a county prosecutor, the State Attorney General, the U. S. Attorney General, and the FBI. Nevertheless, no elected official or taxpayer funded law enforcement agency intervened to put an end to the corruption or to protect the whistle-blowing officers from retaliation. Why did elected officials and government law enforcement agencies ignore the evidence and the complaints of serious police corruption from over 26 credible and reliable police officers? Samuel Clark provides facts, official police documents and report numbers, court transcript excerpts and case numbers, and newspapers accounts, enabling the reader to make his/her own conclusions.

Heather Levine also appeared on the program to discuss her new children's book, "Sophie's Castle", a charming poem about friendship and faith in tomorrow. One day at the beach, Sophie builds a fabulous sand castle, complete with lofty towers surrounded by a moat. But when the ocean tides wash closer and closer, Sophie is suddenly faced with the prospect of losing her castle. With help from a new playmate, she finds the courage to start over again. "Sophie's Castle" is an excellent children's story about trust, rebuilding/starting over, friendship and recovering from loss.

Finally, we visited with Carol Ann Culbert-Johnson, whose new book "I Confess" is a compilation of 22 short romantic stories of the confession nature. These stories deal with the modern life of women and men, couples, and the pressure of dating, searching for the right soul mate, issues concerning cheating, falling for the wrong man, etc., and romantic love stories with happy endings. “The Tease,” “I'm A Slave For You,” “The Religious Experience,” and “Bells and Butterflies” are just a few of the stories depicting the antics of dating, and searching for Mr. Right. The stories are written in the first person showcasing very erotic moments when two bodies are joined together in sexual heat for sexual pleasure. “Living Large” describes three plus-size women who are happy with their bodies, and searching for unconditional love. “He Proposed” was inspired by a song from Kelly Price's CD, and the 20th century of falling in love.

Elfreda Pretorius Hosts the Debut Show of "Public Access Radio"

(Los Angeles, CA)  July 23, 2005  --  Global Talk Radio is proud to announce that Elfreda Pretorius hosted the debut of "Public Access Radio" on July 23, 2005.

Elfreda Pretorius has established herself as an expert in the field of self knowledge and its practical application in the form of true self-help. She has demonstrated her insights and understandings by authoring 'Rules of the Game', in which she reveals her detailed comprehension of the Laws of the Universe and how these impact us daily. Significantly, this was followed by a practical “how to” guide in 'Ten Truths From the Top of Table Mountain.' Naturally, Elfreda takes these Ten Truths into her work - speaking at seminars, facilitating large groups, and coaching individuals - from which Elfreda has experienced phenomenal success.

During her one-hour talk show, Elfreda discussed why self-help does not work for everyone, the role of conditioning, and the Laws of Attraction and Correspondence.

Her book, "Rules of the Game", teaches readers how to overcome struggle and start living. This beautiful novel teaches us the principles and practical steps we need to assume control of our lives and begin to soar. It is exceptional to come across people who know how to find joy in every day. It is unusual to see people who do not bear grudges, people who choose their responses and reactions and people who are confidently moving towards their dreams and goals. This book is not for them. It is for the rest of us who live in various stages of conscious or unconscious victim hood. This was also Sam's plight until that mysterious night on the mountain. Sam was ready to quit in a dramatic and final way. Many people quit from the Game of Life through defeatist behavior and then look for a savior of some kind, a relative, the unknown friend, a lottery ticket to rescue them.

A Story to Tell's Guest Line-up for July 18, 2005

(Los Angeles, CA)  July 18, 2005  --  Global Talk Radio is pleased to announce interviews with several new authors in the July 18th edition of its internet talk radio show "A Story to Tell".

First, we speak with Jack George, author of "A Broken Charity - the Rise and Fall of the Jewish Educational Center". Jack worked at at the Jewish Educational Center, originally hired as an elementary school administrator. He later became the principal of the new school that was founded. But his years of experience in education never prepared him for what he would face. One day, when he arrived at work to pick up the payroll, he was greeted by the IRS. That day, the IRS closed the charity, and the days and weeks ahead were like being in a never-ending roller coaster ride.

Next, we spoke with Emma Merchant, author of "The Same Sun", first of a trilogy. In her words, "the boundaries are not always clear where one life fits into another." In this modern epistolary novel, Emma Merchant promises a detour that rides a thin line between the creative non-fiction and what we comfortably know as contemporary fiction. With humor and poignant hope, two of the characters (Jana and Ethan) rely on each other's words to bridge the distance and circumstances that separate them, while their lives begin a parallel course into unexpected change.

We also heard from Margaret A. Harrell, who has written an inspirational book, entitled "Toward a Philosophy of Perception: The Magnitude of Human Potential - Cloud Optics", which introduces the Love in Transition series, published in English in the “Lucian Blaga” University of Romania, to the United States. At the same time it adds a large number of Harrell’s highly detailed cloud photography. Extending slightly into the infrared and ultraviolet range, they feature unusual colors in the intent to create paintings. Perception is dealt with from within the Blakean tradition of seeing several levels at once and also from within modern theories that vision is always incomplete, but we “fill in the blanks.” Of note is a long extract from an inspirational memoir written for the Exceptional Human Experience Network, “A Man Called Milton [Klonsky]: Experiments in Consciousness. Also included are a few samples of unprogrammed computer printouts that psychically reorganize what was on the screen. Drawing it all together is the theme: “the magnitude of human potential.”

Suzanne Donohoe joined us to talk about her new children's book, "Charlie's Gift." The book is about a boy with a typical problem - he is looking for the one thing that makes him unique. Something that sets him apart from the crowd, that will instantly transform him into ‘cool’. On a vacation to the coast, he will discover that sometimes the gifts you get are no match for the gifts you already have.

And to wrap things up, we included an interview with T. Anthony Truax, author of "The Naphtali Chronicles: A Whole New Breed" to discuss vampires - yes, vampires! A Whole New Breed is a story of speculative fiction using elements of horror and suspense. It takes place in modern times. The story centers around a "gifted," yet troubled young man named Mark Roberts. He finds himself pulled into the middle of a war that has been going on for centuries and has remained hidden for just as long: the war between vampires and the isolated, small bands of humans who know that vampires really exist.

A Story to Tell's Guest Line-up for July 11, 2005

(Los Angeles, CA)  July 11, 2005  --  Global Talk Radio announces interviews with three new authors in its July 11th edition of the internet talk radio show, "A Story to Tell".

First, we speak with Robin Gorley, who has authored a series of poetic books entitled "A Lifetime of Words". When Robin was just 11 years old, she lost her father to cancer. Shortly thereafter, Robin began writing poetry to help with the hurts, the angers and the happiness she was feeling in her life. As she puts it, "For me, poetry was a way to heal, a way to vent and to feel free to express myself. It was hard for me to verbalize my feelings, because I was never allowed to. Poetry was an instrumental part of my life so I could heal."

Next, we heard from Robert Swiatek, author of the book "Don't Bet On It" who joined us for a discussion about playing the lottery and how that ties into his book. His story line is this: It's the lotto gone bad and John Kuzinski wishes he'd never gotten involved. It started with a murder in Baltimore which takes down Presidential candidate Jim Collins who is suspected of the crime. His opponent, Tom Brown, who was down by ten percent in the race, is now being sworn in as President of the United States. That's when the trouble starts. President Brown proposes a national LOTTO and soon, people everywhere are playing and winning. But something about this bothers Kuzinski, something just isn't right. A series of telling dreams and several hunches later, John's embroiled in something he wished he'd left alone. Soon, people he knows are getting murdered and it's up to John to figure out what's happening.

Finally, we interviewed Ruben Sarmiento, author of the science fiction thriller "Weapon X". Scientists believe that the cures for many diseases of our time will be found in our genetics. There are researchers who put in exhaustingly long hours, working toward a breakthrough that will provide answers to many of the questions surrounding these diseases. Some discoveries have already been made regarding the connection between genetics and certain illnesses such as Alzheimer's or breast cancer. The problem, though, is what then to do with that information. Learning what gene causes what diseases does not necessarily provide scientists with a cure for that particular disease, but it does bring them one step closer to finding some answers. It is a fascinating area of study, involving some of the most brilliant minds on the planet, not to mention incredible financial backing. This climate of scientific advancement is the perfect backdrop for his new novel.

Ruben is also trying to raise money and awareness for the disease diabetes, from which he suffers from and has now for nearly six years. When he was sixteen years old he was diagnosed with the disease. Shortly there after he began to write his now published book “Weapon X” “The Past Cannot be Forgotten”. He used the book as a new beginning in his life and now with the book in publication, he is using it as a platform to raise money and awareness of the disease he has been living with for nearly six years. Ruben has pledged to donate a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of “Weapon X” to the American Diabetes Association.

Diabetes is a disease in which the body dos not produce enough insulin or properly use insulin. Insulin is a hormone that converts sugar, starches and food into energy for the body to use for every day life. An estimated 18.2 million people or 6.3 percent of the population have diabetes. However 5.6 million people are unaware that they even have the disease. A fasting test and an oral test can be used to determine if one has diabetes.
