FUN! FUN! FUN! Kiddy Ditties have amazing illustrations and masterful rhyming. Some of the stories have a touch of familiarity which grabs a child’s attention but each of the stories is quite original and cleverly written. They are not full of rhymes just for rhyming sake but a very skilled use of wording. Most of the words are easy enough for new readers to feel successful but enough harder words that allow a parent or teacher to help guide their new reader.
The great thing about Kiddy Ditties is you can read just one of the stories before bed for younger kids. Not too long and not too short…just right! And if they do want to "hear one more story", they are short enough to share another one before saying…night night’!
I would highly recommend these books, especially for your young readers who aren’t up to chapter books but are past simple picture books! Have fun…you’ll find yourself trying to rhyme everything after reading these books!
